Growing up, I was fortunate to have been surrounded by caring, empathetic, and attentive teachers. I continued to experience the excellence of teachers throughout my college career at St. Mary's University, the University of Texas in San Antonio, and Drake University. The dedication and outstanding performance of the teachers in my life had an extraordinary impact on me and my academic experience. I discovered that I wanted to create an academic experience for other students like I had experienced, so I became a teacher and have taught students for almost 35 years. As I spend time tutoring students of all ages, the inspiring teachers I encountered are always on my mind, and that's what motivates me to give my students the same care, empathy, and attentiveness I received as a student. I work alongside my students to provide them an engaging session that expands their knowledge and provides the tools they need to succeed in the classroom. I'm a skilled tutor in many areas, including helping resident physicians plan an operation, helping students build chemistry models, and helping science students create a science fair project. I enjoy helping students master the various Science and Math subjects.When I'm not in the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my family dog, practice my photography skills, and participate in volcano climbing adventures.
